Ok, its probably pretty obvious by now that I do not share the same fondness for the Clintons as a lot of other African-Americans. I knew several years ago that she would probably never get my vote.

I never bought into that “Bill Clinton was the first Black President” mess, and I definitely didn’t give either of them a free pass for my affection. So with all of that being said, I was not the least bit surprised that Hillary made the assassination comments. I am surprised that she or Bill haven’t said it sooner.

If you are unfamiliar with her comments…:

“My husband didn’t wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June,” she said. “We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.”

Ok, so why does she even need to mention anything about an assassination? June is right around the corner. What is her point? Is she suggesting something?

Senator Obama had to request secret service protection earlier than any other candidate in history for a reason.

Then you have racist images like the one used as the front page of a newspaper depicting Obama in cross-hairs.

You also have Mike Huckabee making comments like:

“That was Barack Obama,”He Just tripped off a chair.  He was getting ready to speak.  Somebody aimed a gun at him and he…he dove for the floor.”

Then again Hillary’s comments. “We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.”

Translation:“Obama could get assassinated in June that’s why I will continue to campaign.”
