Is Obama a Curious Little Monkey?
Just when I was getting the warm fuzzy feeling about rednecks in Georgia, I came across this picture:
It seems that the people of Cobb County, or at least the patrons and owners of Mulligan’s Bar and Grill think that this T-Shirt accurately depicts Barack Obama.
“We’re not living in the (19)40’s,” he said. “Look at him . . . the hairline, the ears — he looks just like Curious George,” said bar owner Mike Norman.
Norman is not new to controversy. Recent messages on the sign in front of his bar have read:
“I wish Hillary had married OJ,”
“No habla espanol — and never will”
I.N.S. Agents eat free.”“I’m saying out loud what everyone in this town whispers,” Norman said.
Is calling Obama a monkey fair game? Or considering the history of the racial images used to depict blacks, should this be considered as crossing the line. Let’s Talk!
Why was it ok to call Bush a monkey and then you uppity nigs want to call it racist when the table is turned?

I laughed when they had those pics of Bush as a Chimpanzee. I guess this isn’t much different. Could’ve been worse.

Comparing Obama to a monkey is childish, and utterly ridiculous. This just shows us that racism is alive, and still breathing in America. I just don’t understand racist people. God made us all in his image. How can you hate someone because of their color? You people(racists) are really sick, and you don’t have to worry about entering the gates of Heaven, because you can’t even love one another. Big Jim grow up. Seems to me you have some unresolved issues that weren’t addressed as a child. Wanda was right to tell you to take your hate somewhere else.
Truthfully I really think Big Jim, and all the other racists comments are all Big Jim. Big Jim get a job, and find something else to do besides show how much you hate us being the chosen ones. If I was granted a wish to change my skin color, I would make it blacker. I think it’s very sad that you can’t face the truth that we as black folks will continue to progress.
After hearing that audio, we have a long way to go… getting through this election want be easy. Black talk radio will be working overtime just to keep blacks mind right.
If we dont we will have another George Bush error like with our churches and things. Something that we dont want to see for show.
I just still dont believe at the end of the day white will welcome him to the white house I just dont see it….. But I’m hopeful and prayful it will happen
