Of course Cynthia someone will say, “Who are we to judge?” or “Touch not my annointed.” Or maybe the people should “step back and let God deal with this.” As if God can’t/won’t use other people or entity’s such as this website to deal with and expose these so-called “preachers.”

 

Anthony Hopkins, 37, was a traveling minister. He preached at several churches in Southwest Alabama. Police believe a body found in the small-time evangelist’s home freezer is his wife and a mother of eight, and arrested him on a murder charge as he preached at a south Alabama church.

 
Hopkins and seven of his children were there as part of a revival at the Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
The pastor of Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, Evangelist Beverly Jackson said Hopkins told her the reason he was a single parent was because his wife had died four years ago while giving birth to their son.

Police said no one reported 36-year-old Arletha Hopkins missing, even though she hadn’t been heard from in three years. The body was discovered covered in a freezer in a utility room during a police search of the home in Mobile after a relative of the preacher contacted police.

Mobile Police Chief Phillip Garrett said Anthony Hopkins, the father of six of the eight children, has been charged with rape and sodomy in a separate case involving the female relative and could face more charges related to another relative.

At the church in Jackson, Hopkins was delivering a message about forgiveness that drew encouraging “amens” from the congregation.

 

 

Getting people to shout or say “Amen” doesn’t make a preacher “annointed.” If this crooked, murderous preacher can fool other ministers, his family, and several congregations, don’t you think adulterous/ cradle robbing preachers in the CSRA can fool their congregations?  Is there a difference between a murderous preacher and an adultering preacher?
