Kids Freak Fest! Part 2…Where Do The Kids Learn This Mess!

Warning!! The following Nelly video is not safe to view at Work. View at your own discretion.

Tip Drill” by Nelly

So now that we have all seen the “Kid’s Freak Fest!” video and have become equally appalled by what we have seen, we now need to figure out where this type of behavior comes from and what is needed to stop it. Sure, we as parents have the most important role in raising our children but, what about the kids that do not have good parents? What can we do to help them? Well for starters, we can need change the media portrays us. We especially need to change how our own music portrays us. As I have said before, we are letting our “Black” music define our African American culture. Our kids are learning how to walk, talk, dress, treat women, treat men, have sex, etc…from music videos. Hip-Hop has become synonymous with African-American culture. To behave differently from Hip-Hop is to act “White.”

Our TV shows aren’t much better. Have you ever seen “The Flavor of Love?” We need to monitor what our children see, or hear. However, in a society where more and more children are being raised in a single-parent home or where both parents have to work, kids have more unsupervised time than ever before. So that is why we need to take our defense beyond our homes and into the record company offices, the TV studios, the FCC headquarters, and our elected officials doorsteps. We need to let advertisers know that their products are not welcome in our homes either, if they continue to support the stations that broadcast these negative stereotypes of our people.
Our children are our future and we are letting them become exposed to POISON during their development into adults. Yes, our music has become Poison and I am not alone in that assessment. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Yes We Can! Obama Nominated At Democratic Convention

Yesterday, Senator BarackObama officially became the first African American to lead a major party ticket. On Tomorrow, the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech Obama will address an estimated 70,000 people at Invesco field in Denver. Former President Bill Clinton took a huge step forward in redeeming himself with his very passionate speech making the case for “President” Obama. Click here to see President Clinton’s powerful endorsement.

If you missed the historic moment of Obama’s name being placed in nomination please watch the following video:

On another note, some disgruntled Hillary supporters continue to ignorantly bash Obama. I seriously have to question if these people really are Hillary supporters or rather Republican Party propaganda pushers.

Black Woman Exploited! “Hottentot Venus”…The Saartjie Baartman Story.

Warning: The Following video shows graphic images of the exploitation of an innocent Black Woman. Viewer Discretion is advised.

In response to the “Kids Freak Fest” video, many have asked “How could such a thing have happened?”, “where were the parents?”, or “where did they learn this?”  I have wondered this myself. I just couldn’t understand how people could just stand by and let this happen.  Then I realized that we are all responsible. That wasn’t an isolated incident. While it may have been the worst that many of us have seen, many others have seen behavior like that—or worse– firsthand.

So why do I say that we are all responsible, you ask? Generally speaking, we all are responsible. Even if we do right by our own children by teaching them correctly, and limiting their exposure to negative stimuli. Even if we are on the PTA, the PTO, a boy scout troop leader, Sunday School teacher, community volunteer, or some other active/public servant, we haven’t done enough.

We haven’t done enough to define our culture. We are eager to defend it, but we often don’t know what “it” is that we defend. Defense of a culture is worthless without a culture worth Defending. Right now, most African-Americans are automatically lumped in together under one culture…Hip Hop! Sure Hip Hop may have been innocently noble to begin with. But look at it now. It is teaching our youth how to be black. Our girls act like strippers and Ho’s because they are being educated as strippers and Ho’s. Our music teaches them that they can only go as far as their butts can carry them. Literally! Our son’s are being educated as “Gangsta’s”, “Thugs”, “Playas” and “Pimps.” They are being taught to have sex early and often and  with as many people as they can.

When Parenting Goes Wrong… Kids Freak Fest!

My wife and I had just arrived home today from our son’s soccer practice when we heard our neighbor, yell out to her 6yr old son to “get your “A” over here “M_Fer!” We couldn’t believe our ears. Why would she be talking to that child that way?

This isn’t the first time that I heard profanity coming from that home, although they usually wait until 2:30am, when the rest of the neighborhood is asleep, to curse someone out. This probably isn’t the first time that that child has heard those words either. But this is the first time I have ever heard anyone cuss out a 1st-grader. If her son is anything like my 6yr-old, then he just added that phrase to his own vocabulary…although, for him, it was probably already there from a previous cussin’ out.

John McCain & Pastor Warren Complete Liars on Cone of Silence!!

Here is the video where Warren initially informs the audience that McCain will be in the “Cone of Silence while Obama is getting interviewed.”

Rick Warren was questioned about “McCain-gate.” Pay special attention to the 4:47 mark when Warren was asked directly about the Cone Of Silence issue.

Rick Warren: McCain will be in a “Cone of Silence”…I think.

Ok, so many of you probably saw Obama’s and McCain’s performances during the Saddlebeck Forum on Faith led by Pastor Rick Warren. However did you know that McCain “possibly” cheated and listened in on Obama being interviewed first?

Senator John McCain was not in a “cone of silence” on Saturday night while his rival, Senator Barack Obama, was being interviewed at the Saddleback Church in California… The matter is of interest because Mr. McCain, who followed Mr. Obama’s hourlong appearance in the forum, was asked virtually the same questions as Mr. Obama. Mr. McCain’s performance was well received, raising speculation among some viewers, especially supporters of Mr. Obama, that he was not as isolated during the Obama interview as Mr. Warren implied.

Mr. Warren, the pastor of Saddleback, had assured the audience while he was interviewing Mr. Obama that “we have safely placed Senator McCain in a cone of silence” and that he could not hear the questions… Interviewed Sunday on CNN, Mr. Warren seemed surprised to learn that Mr. McCain was not in the building during the Obama interview.  Source

This is significant because they were asked the same questions, and with McCain going second, listening in would have given him an unfair advantage. This so-called Forum on Faith was really a test for a portion of the evangelical votes at stake in this election. “McLame” was able to cheat on this test. The truth is, “McSame” wasn’t even in the building while Obama was being interviewed.

However when Rick Warren asked,

“Was the cone of silence comfortable that you were in just now?”

Mr. McCain replied,

“I was trying to hear through the wall.”

Of course McCain spokesperson Nicole Wallace said,

“The insinuation from the Obama campaign that John McCain, a former prisoner of war, cheated is outrageous.”

Ha! As if this is the first time McCain, the former prisoner of war, has cheated.

Transcripts Appear To Show Pastor’s Sex Talk With Teens

I know, I know. Here we go again, right? Well before you call up your local church and warn your pastor that we are on here talking about him again, read the whole article. While this story may seem familiar, the actual people involved are from a church in Florida. Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church of Jacksonville to be exact.

However, we couldn’t help but notice that the situation seems very familiar.  Like:

  1. A Pastor acting as a counselor
  2. A teenage member brought to pastor for counseling
  3. explicit text messages
  4. Church leaders found that the Pastor acted irresponsibly through his interaction with these teenage girls

Wait A Minute!! You mean that the church leaders did not try to sweep this under the rug?? No cover up?
Hmmmmmm? i guess this story is not so familiar after all.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - There are new details about a pastor accused of having a sexual relationship with two teenage girls at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church.

We got our hands on 800 pages of court documents detailing the alleged x-rated phone and text messages sent between Darrell Gilyard and a teenaged girl. We also have transcripts of interviews between the state attorney’s office and the deacons of the church.Transcripts of text messages coming from Gilyard’s phone obtained by subpoena from Virgin Mobile included even more explicit messages, like: Are you easy? So any man can __ the ___ outta you.” “Marry my ____. I’m serious. Call me cell and tell me. Lie on me and let my fingers explore…”

It’s pages upon pages of phone and text records allegedly sent by Gilyard to two girls–14 and 16 years old. And we’re now getting a look at just how racy the language really was.

The 16-year old told police in a newly released report–she had closer contact with Gilyard–because she was being counseled by him.

In the phone and text messages most of the language is too explicit to show you but in one alleged text, the 16-year old told police: Gilyard texted her:

“I’m in the mood.”

She says she asked –isn’t your wife home and he replied “Yeah, she is but i want younger ____.”

Double Standard on John McCains’ Infidelity?

So the media has been all over John Edward’s extra-marital affair and, in my opinion, rightfully so. I mean this guy was in the running for POTUS! Our leaders need to be trustworthy and faithful. Adulterers need not apply. However, is John McCain getting a free pass? Why isn’t the media highlighting his philandering ways? Is there a double-standard? Does he get a pass because he was a POW? Let’s see what our friends at the FAUX News network have to say about it.

Oakland Mayor: get you an old N_gg_r shooter……………!

You might be a racist if the following racist term is part of your vocabulary:

“…go out there and get you an old N_gg_r shooter (slang for slingshot) and take care of it and put it in the pot.”

OAKLAND, OK — Some citizens in Oakland, Oklahoma are distancing themselves from their town mayor and even calling for her resignation. An audio recording of a July council meeting captured Margarette Redwine, the mayor of Oakland, using a racial epithet.

The meeting took place July 7th, when the town’s board of trustees began discussing a problem with chickens. That’s when Mayor Redwine spoke up and voiced her solution to the problem, and suggested a slingshot could be used, except she did not use the word slingshot. What she did say was a phrase that many people find horribly offensive.

“…go out there and get you an old N_gg_r shooter (slang for slingshot) and take care of it and put it in the pot.”

When asked if she was a racist, Redwine replied, No I am not, No I am not. I have several black people married into my family and I am not.
